poor oil companies! – مساكين شركات البترول

عندى سؤال واجد للأستاذ الأخ العقيد بوش (هو مش عقيد؟ أمال شبهه ليه؟) المهم… عندى سؤال: لما سعادتك يعنى لفيت الشرق الأوسط بتشتكى لطوب الأرض من غلاء أسعار البترول وسعر البرميل, ولما حضرتك عامل إن الشعب الأمريكى يهمك وإنك بتخدمه,  ليه حضرتك يعنى مش بتطالب شركات البترول بتاعتك فى أمريكا إنها تخفض الأسعار – فبدل ما تكون أرباح الشركات دى همسمائة بالمائة, ليه ماتكونش 400 بالمائة مثلا؟

I have a question for Mr. Bush who went around the Middle East complaining to everyone who will listen about the high price of oil, hoping to get price reductions from Saudi Arabia, which he obviously secured So my question is this: why, Sir, if you say you care for the American people and are looking for their best interest, then why, Sir, have you not asked your own oil companies to reduce oil prices? why haven’t you asked them to make 400% profits instead of 500% profits? wouldn’t that ease the burden on the American people?

Just an innocent question.

rice on the bad side of the lobby – اللوبى مش بيحب رزة

خلاص شهر العسل إنتهى بين الست رزة واللوبى الصهيونى – على فكرة اللوبى الصهيونى اللى ما لوش وجود طبعا.رزة لما زارت أولمرت فى إسرائيل تجرأت وعبرت عن رأى غير مرغوب فيه – فقالت إنها لما رأت التفرقة فى إسرائيل تذكرت التفرقة العنصرية بين البيض والسود فى أمريكا أيام ما كانوا بيقعدوا فى خلف الأتوبيس ليتركوا الأمكنة الأمامية للبيض. وطبعا قامت الدنيا فاللوبى دلوقت مش بيحبها خلاص وبيعتربها تخطت الخط الأحمر مثل ما فعل كارتر من قبل بل ويعتبرها عدوة لإسرائيل.

يا دهوتى السودة! تفرقة عنصرية؟ الست إتجننت وإلا حاجة؟ بس الفكرة إن هى مش مهمة خلاص, واللوبى دلوقت ملتفت للإنتخابات الجديدة علشان إن شاء الله يختار حد كده يكون لسه شايف إسرائيل البلد الديمقراطى الوحيد فى الشرق الأوسط. وفى تلك الأثناء, ياخدوا الضوء الأخضر علشان يكسروا الدنيا على غزة وأم عزة من الأخ الأستاذ شجرة اللى إعطاهم الضوء الأخضر بعد ما راح صلى فى بيت لحم مكان مولد السيد المسيح

Condi Rice is in trouble with the Lobby now – of course that Lobby that has no existence but in the minds of conspirators and especially the liberals of them. You see, here is the section of the article of what happened in Haaretz

In private conversations – and as she said in Annapolis – Rice tends to compare the Israeli occupation in the territories to the racial segregation that used to be the norm in the American South. The Israel Defense Forces checkpoints where Palestinians are detained remind her of the buses she rode as a child in Alabama, which had separate seats for blacks and whites. This is an uncomfortable comparison, of course, for the Israelis, who view it as “over-identification” on her part with Palestinian suffering. For some leaders of American Jewish organizations, who weren’t all that fond of Rice to begin with, her use of this image was the last straw. Rice is now marked as an enemy. It’s also easier for them to blame her, rather than the president, for an approach that’s not to their liking. [link]

So now they talk about her irrelevance and how she is ‘marked as an enemy’.

Hey Condi, enjoy your new status. You are likened to Carter and to anyone who dared speak out. Bu you don’t have to worry of course because there is no re-election. They are marginalizing you now and turning to their ‘dear friend’ Mr. Bush who had just completed prayers in Bethlehem, the birth place of Jesus, and also turning to the person who will be newly elected to the White House. Their favorites are those who say how strongly they support Israel, and there are plenty around who say that to curry favors with the Lobby [that does not exist of course].

I wouldn’t be surprised if Condi wrote her memoirs immediately after leaving office  explaining all her ‘in private conversations’, claiming how offended she was by what was happening to the Palestinians. Oh and the Lebanese too [that's what the article says - she was offended at that slap in the face by Israel when she was trying to 'mediate' a half-hearted cease fire with Lebanon. You see, they never say that when their positions are at stake. It is always after when they have nothing to lose.

So Ms.Rice, how do you like being branded 'enemy of the State of Israel?'

نموت مجانا …منسيين كالكلاب ….. dying for free, forgotten like dogs

أما الأمس فكان هناك فرح يقام فى غزة بالقرب من مبنى الأمن الداخلى فأطلقت إسرائيل صواريخ قتلت فيها أربعين فلسطينيا على الأقل من بينهم أطفال, وقد صرح جون دوجارد المتحدث باسم مفوضية حقوق الإنسان بالأمم المتحدة أن هذه جريمة حرب وأن إسرائيل لابد أنها كانت تعرف ان هناك فرحا مقاما وقد قال أيضا دوجارد أن هذا فعل جبان

نعم فعل جبان من بين أفعال أخرى كثيرة. ولكن على الأقل تكلم أحدهم وقالها. .

Sickening!! The world will remember this for years to come. The world will remember that they stood by silently watching the Palestinians being murdered. Yesterday, in its attack against an interior ministry building in Gaza, Israel also killed 40 Palestinians who were getting ready to celebrate a wedding. John Dugard, UN special rapporteur on the human rights situation in the Palestinian territories, said that this was a cowardly act, and said also that the Israelis could not have possibly NOT known about the wedding and the civilian casualties. Watch as the Israeli propaganda machine spins this in the US and says ‘we do not mean to attack civilians, it is just a mistake.’ Just wait and see.

what bhutto said – ماذا قالت بى نظير بوتو؟

مش متأكدة ليه ما حدش إتكلم فى الموضوع ده خالص وبخاصة فى الدول العربية -  وحتى فى الدول الأخرى فالإعلام تجاهل الموضوع وكأنه لم يكن. فقط كالعادة المدونات هى التى قامت بالتعليق وبنشر الموضوع. هذا هو شريط حوار بى نظير بوتو مع ديفيد فروست المذيع البريطانى على قناة البى بى سى حيث قالت فيه بوتو أن عمر شيخ قد قتل بن لادن. قالتها بشكل عابر وسط الكلام فقالت أنه ها هو عمر شيخ وهة الرجل الذى قام بقتل بن لادن.. ثم أكملت كلامها دون أن حتى يوقفها فروست ليسألها هل ما قالته تقصده بالفعل أم أنها غلطة كما قيل فيما بعد. المهم أن البى بى سى أثناء وضعها الفيديو على موقعها قامت بإزالة الجملة تماما, وبعد أن تتطاير الموضوع على المدونات قامت البى بى سى بنشر إعتذار رسمى قالت فيه أنها أرادت إزالة الفقرة فقط حتى لا تتسبب فى لخبطة

هو فيه لخبطة أكثر من كده؟

وإيه أهمية موت بن لادن؟ أهميته طبعا أن أمريكا لا تزال تستحدمه كالبعبع الكبير حتى لا يهدأ الناس ويظلون فى حالة خوف دائم.

والقضية لا تزال مفتوحة – وذلك لأن بوتو كانت تتحدث طوال حديثها بلباقة وقوة ولم تخظىء مطلقا ولم تتردد عندما قالت تلك الجملة بل قالتها فى سياق الكلام بشكل عادى وكأن المسألة معروفة مما أثار بالطبع كل أفكار المؤامرات التى لا تهدأ. ولا أحد يعرف أين الحقيقة.

The story of what Bhutto told David Frost on the BBC is of course catching fire on blogs across the world but I have not seen it on Arab blogs even though it is al Jazeera’s Youtube channel that actually broadcast it. Bhutto was talking to Frost about that ‘Omar Sheikh, the man who killed bin Laden’  and the assertion went unchallenged by Frost. To make matters worse, the BBC posted the video on its own site but edited out – or should I say censored out -  this sentence. Following the bloggers’ outrage the BBC issued an apology and said it edited it out because it wanted to avoid confusion, and that it assumed that Bhutto had just misspoken.

This may be so, but the problem is that Bhutto was so eloquent and fluent in her speech without a single hitch, and to make such a mistake without batting an eye or unflinching seems rather unlikely. But who really knows? conspiracy theories now abound and Bhutto is not around any more to explain.

But what is the importance of Bin Laden’s death? well to put it simply, he is the big bad monster that the US admin is using to continue its pursuit of its insane policies in the Middle East and beyond.
