guess who came to the football match? يا ترى مين جه للماتش؟

كما هو مبين فى الصور بأسفل, فقد كان هذا هو الإستقبال الحافل الذى قوبل به فريق مكابى حيفا الإسرائيلي فى إيطاليا الأسبوع الماضى, وهو الفريق الذى كان يلعب أمام فريق لبفورنو فى بطولة كأس العالم الأوروبية لكرة القدم. وقد قام المشاهدون للمباراة برفع الأعلام الفلسطينية واللبنانية بالإضافة إلى رفع لافتات تقول أننا كلنا فلسطينيون أو تحيا فلسطين. وقبل نهاية المباراة بخمسة عشر دفيفة إقتحم أحدهم ساحة جلوس الحكام حاملا علما فلسطيني وذلك بالرغم من قوات الأمن المتواجدة فى المكان.  وقد تم حمل الرجل خارج الملعب

إعتقد أن فريق ليفوربو كان لابد أن يعطى الفرصة لفريق مكابى حيفا لكى يكسب وإلا إتهم بمعاداة السامية وبخاصة أنها منتشرة فى أوروبا اليومين دول. مش كده وإلا إيه؟

This is the reception the Israeli team received in Italy last week by the Livorno team fans at the UEFA Cup…unfurling full-length Palestinian and Lebanese flags and holding banners saying ‘we are all Palestinians’ or ‘long live Palestine’. In addition, in spite of tight security, with 15 minutes left of the match “a man brandishing a Palestinian flag entered the field of play and ran almost the full length of the Ibrox pitch” [link].

Security before the match was at its highest in anticipation of major demonstrations.

I think the Livorno team needs to be careful. If they win, they may be accused of the ‘anti-semitism’ that is currently sweeping Europe.
